This website is operated by Punk & Oi In The UK Limited, a UK based
company. This policy sets out to explain how we use and collect information.
We aim to keep your private information just that, private!
By either registering as a user of any services provided by Punk & Oi
In The UK on this website and by using the Punk & Oi In The UK web
site generally you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
In accordance with Data Protection Act 1998, Punk & Oi In The UK
limited is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office
to act as a Data Controller.
What Information do we collect: What – Why – When?
When you register for an account, we will collect the information necessary
to provide the service which includes, as a minimum, your name, postal
address, home telephone, date of birth, an e-mail address and how you
heard about us. You will also be asked to provide your Website, Work
Phone number, Mobile Phone number, Fax and company name, but you can
register without providing this. Once you are registered, you can access
and update much of the information you provided us directly on the website
by using the ‘Change Address Details’ form found under the ‘My
Account’ option or by notifying us of the changes by email. It
is your duty to maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to
keep it true, accurate, current and complete.
We will also collect information from you if you complete some of the
other forms on our site, enter any of our competitions, fill in polls,
register for mailing lists and if you contact us with comments or specific
requests.
We strive to continuously improve our website and services and obtaining
such information can help us provide you with a sometimes better and
more personalised experice. We may use information that you provide or
that is obtained by us:

our web site services;

service provided by our web host. Your Internet browser generates information
such as what browser you are using, and your Internet Protocol address
("IP address"). We do not use your IP address to identify you
personally. This information is used to make your visit to our site more
efficient, and to help us analyse our users’ browsing preferences
on our site so that we can make regular improvements.
Security

When we you submit your credit card details they are handled by a secure
server with state-of-the-art encryption and secure HTTPS (HTTP over SSL)
server technology. You can check that you are shopping in a secure environment
by looking for either a locked padlock or a key icon in the grey bar
at the bottom of your screen. We only accept orders that are placed using
Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This technology prevents you from inadvertently
revealing personal information using an insecure connection. For your
safety this is handled by a third party payment provider. Punk & Oi
In The UK does not have access to your credit card details at any stage.
This is why you can save your personal details but need to enter your
card details each time you order.
Information Requests
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you at any time
(for which we may charge a small fee). We will also correct any inaccuracies
in your information at your request.
