Band News: The (East End) BaddoesVery well respected original east end Oi luminary Terry Hayes has finally pieced together a new line up for the East End Baddoes, who appeared on the Back on the Streets e.p back in the '80's To date we have the following gigs lined-up:- 3rd December - London/Islington, the Garage, with the Business (note line-up & times below) 11th December - Nottingham, Rock City, with the Dropkick Murphys & Argy Bargy 17th December - London/Acton, Kings Arms with Argy Bargy & Vas Deferens The full line up for the Garage show is detailed below - please note that doors are at 4pm & not 5pm (as stated on various websites) or 7pm (as stated on tickets):- The Business 9:30-10:30 Kings Of Nuthin' 8:15-9:00 The Freaks Union 7:30-8:00 Neck 6:45-7:15 The Dead Pets 6:00-6:30 Burn Subvert Destroy 5:15-5:45 The Baddoes 4:30-5:00 The Baddoes have been rehearsing for a number of weeks now & have written several new numbers, covering things such as the state of the nation, football violence, growing up in the oi scene etc etc. Our set also includes some old numbers & a couple of covers thrown in for good measure. We come from a big group of friends, who enjoy having a drink/laugh together, going to gigs at home & abroad, along with a bit of football banter (although we all support different teams, which adds to the fun !). In addition to Terry, the line up is made up of porn star wannabe Texas Joe on drums, Roi Pearce younger brother lookalike Chris on guitar & BigBadoeDom on bass. We look forward to seeing you at our shows & would like to thank all those that have given us immense amounts of support & encouragement. |
