Please give a brief history of the band, including current line up.

II started Snap Her while I was temporarily residing in Stuttgart, Germany in 1993. It was there that my frind Axel, of the band WIZO made me sing lead for the first time, as well as playing bass. We recorded a four song demo, I returned to California, found a drummer and guitarist, and started playing shows....since then, the band has had some lineup changes. The current line up is Skunk on guitar, Tom Tom on the drums, and yours truly on bass and lead vocals.

* Snap-her now have a new guitarist named Vince Buckley (Dec 00)

Do you find that the audiance at your gigs differs in the Uk, Europe and the US? If so, how?

In the U.K. and Europe our audiences are much more supportive in that they are less apt to ask for free cds, records, shirts, or ask to get in for free. In America, many in the punk scene are not of the working class variety, so don't usually support thier own scene, and then wonder why it is not always thriving. However, the scene here is definitely NOT dead, there is always a show to attend, or play. Snap Her usually plays 3 times a month in the Los Angeles and vicinity area. I personally attend 3 shows or more per week. There is always something going on, and never a dull moment. I only wish more people would POGO and less people would run around in circles like a bunch of bafoons....

What is the first record each member of the band ever bought?

Skunk, the Cars

Tom Tom-Gladys night and the Pips

Andi-Elton John-Bennie and the Jets ( Skunk and Andi wanted to buy Kiss records but Moms would'nt let them)

Who is giving the 'golden cocktail' in the photo on your 'Queen Bitch Of Rock & Roll' album, and how come you were inspired to write those lyrics?

The Golden Coktail photos are of a model from an adult magazine that NIcky Garrat picked out...I have peed on people many times, and served Golden Coktails to many eager recipients in the past so I wrote about it...

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you whilst touring?

Whilst on tour, I accidentally left my clean underwear and socks bag behind. We had to drive 90 minutes to get it back!! another time, my ex drummer Elaine's suitcase acciednetally POPPED open in front of teenaged fans whilst unloading equipment and a HUGE amount of Porm magazines and adult toys flew out of it!! You should have seen the looks on everyone's face!!

What is the Punk/Oi scene like in your area?

The punk/Oi! scene here is getting better as far as unity goes. I usually complain that there is too much animosity between punks and skins in Southern CA, but it is getting better....what I hate, are dirty ass crusty, smelly hippies who call themselves punks, and won't work for a living.

If you could see any band play live, either of the past or present who would it be?

I would love to see the Clash again!!

Plans, gigs and releases planned for 2000.

Snap Her is now writing new songs that we will record and release this year, on what label, I don't know yet. we also plan on touring in Europe and U.K. again this Sept/Oct.

* Snap Here will be playing HITS, Morcambe in July 2001 as well as doing a UK tour (Dec 00)
